As a valued member of our team, you can make your mark on the world and reach your full potential within a culture of connectivity.Job OverviewWe are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team in Washington, D.C.As a Business Development Executive you will:Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies by creating and developing business plan, identifying new business opportunities, and closing deals with existing, target and new clients. Utilize knowledge of sales processes and methodologies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial sales targets.Essential Functions
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Conduct in-person client engagements, articulating Haworth's value proposition through face-to-face (F2F) client engagements, delivering compelling presentations, and creating solutions with existing, target and new opportunities.
- Create value in Haworth-Dealer relationship by presenting new business leads and strategizing with dealers on developing new business.
- Identify and qualify leads through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Manage assigned sales market/territory and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and network within the market to identify new business opportunities.
- Travel up to 80% of the time to meet with clients, influencers, and dealers.
- Negotiate and close deals ensuring profitable agreements for Haworth and its dealers.
- Track sales activities and performance metrics using customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Use office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Perform other duties within scope as assigned.Required
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, architecture, industrial design, interior design, marketing or equivalent.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
- High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.Work
Experience:
- 2 years experience in consultative B2B, solution-based sales
role with demonstrated track of generating revenue and meeting
sales targets with Bachelor's Degree.Additionally:
- Ability to work in Washington, D.C. without relocation assistance.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States
without sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications
- Contract office furniture or commercial interiors experience
preferred.Compensation and BenefitsHaworth offers a competitive
total rewards package including base salary determined based on the
role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible
roles, sales incentive bonuses may be awarded in recognition of
individual achievements and contributions. We also offer a range of

coverage, a retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, paid

process. This role offers a salary range of 80k to 175k, depending
