professionals!
Richmond Behavioral Health Emergency Services Program is recruiting
for qualified full time licensed or license eligible clinician to
provide crisis intervention services over night. All Crisis
positions are required work on weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on call
rotation. Emergency Services offers an exciting, dynamic work
environment providing services to adults, youth, individuals with
behavioral health disorders, and persons in need of developmental
services.
Essential Functions
Duties include preadmission screening evaluation for
hospitalization, crisis intervention, triage for non emergency
intakes, information & referral, brief case management, and crisis
stabilization. Services require working in the office and in a
variety of community settings. Must be able to multi task, manage
stressful and high-risk work environments, interface with multiple
behavioral health partners and first responders, and to work
independently with minimal need for direct supervision.
Develops and facilitates psycho-educational groups; provides
individual, family and group counseling; implements treatment
plans; coordinates daily treatment schedule.
Monitors and manages an assigned caseload.
Provides crisis intervention and prevention services to individuals
and families.
Develops and maintains administrative and clinical files; prepares
various reports and case related correspondence.
Provides consultation, education and prevention services; provides
drug and alcohol testing.
Participates in clinical, administrative and supervisory meetings;
collaborates with other staff members concerning cases.
Performs intakes, client assessments and diagnostic interviews, and
develops and writes comprehensive intake and diagnostic summaries
and reports; conducts mental health assessment and monitors level
of functioning.
Delivers, provides and monitors medications; provides physician and
staff with updates; maintains medical records in accordance with
standards.
Prioritizes medication and lab work monitoring with medical staff
to maintain compliance.
Manages and documents contacts; enters and updates information in
database.
Coordinates case management services; coordinates and links client
to community resources and medical services; interfaces with other
service providers and client support system.
Attends professional conferences and trainings as required.
Attends court as needed to update the court on the participants
progress and/or status of new referrals.
Supervises student interns as directed.

Position Requirements
Education and Experience
Master's degree with coursework in social work, counseling,
psychology, or approved human services field and moderate
experience working with clients with developmental disabilities in
a behavioral healthcare setting required.
Registration as licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCP or LMHP-E
required
Minimum two years' behavioral health experience with seriously
mentally ill adult's additional experience with substance use
disorders, developmental services, crisis intervention,
preadmission screening evaluation, and Profiler electronic health
record experience preferred.
Special Requirements

Valid Virginia driver's license without restrictions, the ability
to drive 24/7 in all weather conditions.
CPR, CPI, Medication Technician, and Prescreener
certifications.
Qualifying licensed and licensed eligible clinician staff will be
eligible for a $4K sign-on bonus as defined by the terms and
conditions of the approved sign-on bonus policy.

Starting Salary Range
Clinician I $60,873.82 +- LMHP-E, Clinician II $65,734.87 +- LCSW,
LPC, LCP. Advertised rate includes 6.25% diff. which is offered to
essential staff.ntial above base salary is provided for full-time
positions.
