Job Description:
A company is looking for an LTC & Life Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate insurance applicants by reviewing underwriting data and
determining risk acceptance
Contact clients to gather medical history and address any gaps
while ensuring excellent customer service
Utilize system workbenches for processing cases and maintain high
customer focus through effective communication
Required Qualifications
Minimum two years of life or LTC underwriting experience with
proficiency in underwriting processes
Familiarity with medical terminology and conditions
Strong PC and typing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft
applications
Ability to work in a team environment while managing complex
workloads independently
Completion of LOMA 280/281 and 290/291 is preferred
