Job Description:
NOTTOWAY SHERIFF'S OFFICE is now accepting applications for the
position of 911 COMMUNICATIONS DISPATCHER. Position requires
dispatching fire, rescue, law enforcement personnel, general office
filing, good computer skills, ability to speak distinctly and
communicate orally under stressful conditions. Applicant must be at
least (18) years old, high school graduate or equivalent, and a US
citizen. Prior emergency medical dispatch or medical knowledge
preferred but not required for the full-time position.AN IN-DEPTH
JOB DESCRIPTION IS LISTED BELOWMust be willing to work SHIFT WORK,
HOLIDAYS and WEEKENDS and satisfactorily complete man-dated
training for this position.Pay commensurate with experience.
