Job Description:

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Developer to join our growing Cloud Operations Team at the Herndon or Chantilly, VA location. This is an onsite position.The Cloud Operations Team provides end-to-end cloud solutions for workloads in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle, enhancing the Customer's mission through innovation, speed, agility, security, and resiliency.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and services.
• Play a critical role in building and optimizing cloud-native solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, modern development frameworks, and a commitment to best practices in coding, security, and performance.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud technologies and services.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud-native development, including microservices architecture, containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
  • Experience with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or Go.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices, including access controls, encryption, and secure coding standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Developer).
    • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
    • Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automated deployment and monitoring.Clearance Requirements:

        • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel -

        • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations -
        • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
