Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer -
Cybersecurity Threat Research and Defense.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively monitor current and emerging cyber threats to build
detection, prevention, and remediation actions
Collaborate with a high-performance team to protect customers from
cyber threats
Research, prototype, and develop advanced cybersecurity features to
safeguard homes and businesses
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in high-performance real-time network
security software products
Deep understanding of Linux networking fundamentals such as
netfilter and iptables/nftables
Proficiency in high-performance user-space packet processing
technologies
Experience with CVEs, IOCs, and developing detection rules using
snort or YARA
Expertise in L2-L7 protocol details and familiarity with machine
learning for cyber threat prevention
