Details for Medical Assistant:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Pay Rate: $18-$21/hr. Negotiable based off experience
• Full Time
• Temp to hire Job Responsibilities & Description for Medical Assistant:
  • Assist clinicians with patient visits, including putting patients in rooms, interviewing patients, recording vital signs including pulse, blood pressure, height, weight, and enters information into the patient's electronic medical records
  • Perform data collection for assessment purposes under the direction of the provider
  • Prepare the patient and assist the provider with exams and procedures when needed.
  • Administer and document injections, including immunizations, vaccinations, and other services ordered by the provider and according to standards
  • Organize exam rooms, including sanitation and general cleaning, upkeep, and re-stocking of supplies Job Requirements for Medical Assistant:
    • Must be licensed/certified in VA
    • Must have 1-2+ years of experience
    • Must be flexible with hours (no nights/weekends)
    • Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and urine drug screen
    • Experience with EMR's and clinical skills
